Recently
I have been experimenting with a lot of After Effects CS5 and completing small
montages and motion graphics. I came across this tutorial on the web and It
contains information about a deformer experiment called 'Polygon Reduction' in
Cinema4D. This enabled me to create an abstract model that I can change and
animate professionally.
In
the next few weeks I will start to experiment with live action footage and composite
this render and hopefully import more into the scene. Stay tuned for more
updates!
The client really loved my banner and was pleased of what was portayed. He asked if I could change the font ever so slightly and also change the intensity of the picture to make it more sci fi and also more sinister. Im quite proud of my work so far and hopefully I can make this even better soon.
A
couple of months ago I was confronted by one of my old friends over email containing information about
a future freelance job. The original idea was to create a logo and a banner for
his and his partner’s Dub-step album, which will be released within the next
year. The Dub-step duo named ‘HELF & SAFETY’ wanted a
sci-fi abstract piece to advertise their band. I thought the best way to
portray dub-step will be the use of 3D.
I
have recently been learning a lot of Cinema4D and It has now become a very good
tool within my work. After I rendered the scene, I then put it in photoshop. Here are just some progress shots of what I have managed
to create so far.
