Project 1: Dub-step Album cover

A couple of months ago I was confronted by one of my old friends over email containing information about a future freelance job. The original idea was to create a logo and a banner for his and his partner’s Dub-step album, which will be released within the next year. The Dub-step duo named ‘HELF & SAFETY’ wanted a sci-fi abstract piece to advertise their band. I thought the best way to portray dub-step will be the use of 3D.

I have recently been learning a lot of Cinema4D and It has now become a very good tool within my work. After I rendered the scene, I then put it in photoshop. Here are just some progress shots of what I have managed to create so far.
